Summer Comes Early in So Cal

***Hot and very dry through the end of next week***

A strong ridge of high pressure centered over the Desert Southwest will bring hot and very dry conditions away from the coastal areas through the end of next week. Temperatures will slowly warm through Wednesday as the ridge continues to strengthen and then temperatures will gradually cool late next week as the ridge weakens a little. Maximum temperatures will be in the 80s to low 90s across the mountains and 90s to 102 in the valleys today. Minimum humidity will be mainly in the single digits and teens away from the coastal areas across Southern California and between 15% and 30% across Central California for the next few days. Southeast flow aloft will bring the possibility of isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the Sierra Crest Saturday through Monday. Winds will be light through the end of next week.
