More Fall-like Weather Ahead for Southern California
Well above normal temperatures, low RH today. Much cooler during the coming week***
A few areas of light offshore flow will continue through the morning hours. Northeast winds are generally in the 10-20 mph range in the windiest spots through northern Los Angeles County. These winds will decrease later this morning into the afternoon as gradients trend back onshore flow. Many coastal and valley areas have experienced much better RH recovery the last two nights, but the mountains across Southern California are still seeing very low humidity this morning. Minimum RH will drop into the single digits once again across the Angeles and San Bernardino National Forest before noon while the rest of interior sections of Southern California sees readings drop into the teens during the afternoon hours. Temperatures today will be 10-15 degrees above normal over much of the district with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s in the valleys and lower foothills.
