A low pressure area may drop into Central California early next week, resulting in even cooler weather. By Monday and Tuesday, highs in the San Joaquin Valley may only reach the lower to mid 70s. Winds should be light early next week. The trough will depart the region next Wednesday, leading to sunny, warmer weather with less marine layer coverage. Minimum RH will drop into the 10-15% range today, but should stay above 20% over most areas Saturday and beyond. 

A ridge which has been lurking off the coast the past few days will move ashore, bringing light winds, clear skies and above normal temperatures today. Highs will range from the 70s at the coast to the lower to mid 90s in the valleys in the valleys which is about 10 degrees above normal.
