Inland Valley Weather Report, Southern Calfironia
Gusty north winds across Santa Barbara County and the Grapevine tonight***
Strengthening high pressure over Nevada will bring a few degrees of warming to the region both today and Saturday. Maximum temperatures will be in the upper 70s and 80s across the mountains and upper 80s and 90s in the valleys today. Minimum humidity will be mainly in the single digits and teens away from the coastal areas through Saturday. North winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 35 mph will surface across much of Santa Barbara County and the Grapevine tonight. A weak area of low pressure will form off the Northern California Coast Sunday and remain off the coast through the middle of next week bringing a cooling trend and an increase in humidity to the region. This low will bring up moisture from the southeast and south causing isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms Sunday afternoon through the middle of next week. Most of the shower and thunderstorm activity will occur over the Sierra and over the mountains and deserts of Southern California east of I-15.
